Suggestions for improvement
- Better training for supervisors including discrimination and how to promote within the organization. More focus should be placed on being a team and helping everyone to feel as though they are part of a team. Raises, or incentives, for longevity should be given. The environment needs to be one of empathy and compassion, especially when there is a death in the family of an employee, or they are very sick. Sick leave would be good to help improve the overall health of the office. Stop treating employees like robots and help them improve without micromanaging.
What I like about the company
It's a good place to start and you will normally get hired right away.
What I dislike about the company
Training for supervisors should include anything outlined in EEO. Promotions should be based on merit, rather than on friendship. The building needs to be repaired and is not safe during thunderstorms, as the roof leaks and the building will flood. The air quality needs to be checked, because of the leaking roof. Pay raises would be great, especially for longevity. Retention and employee happiness should be more of a concern.
