High levels of favoritism and hypocrisy due to young, inexperienced team leaders

Predominantly under age 30. Young people stick together. Older workers with more professional backgrounds, or who are not as fast, are let go

Elevators poorly maintained. One has mold growing in it and smells horrible. Others are out-of-service constantly

O.S.H.A. has found violations more than once. Security doors left ajar, bedbugs in two of the production centers, sanitation issues

What I like about the company

Was able to work overnight which is more suitable for me

What I dislike about the company

Inexperienced, young "team leaders" are promoted within months to that position. They know the mechanics of the computer systems but little about customer service or managing personnel. Supervisors refuse to take phone calls unless ABSOLUTELY necessary. Favoritism is shown for team leaders' "buddies" and peers.

Company Culture

The atmosphere is a mirage. On the surface, things appear upbeat and fun. However, the corruption in leadership tears it all away.

Support from management

If you make a friends with the leadership, you can get away with anything.

Teamwork

Work well together yes, honest and direct, hardly. Only time it's honest is when you agree, other perspectives, ideas are not reacted to favorably.

Freedom to work independently

No say in structuring, and the workload is definitely not distributed fairly, once again, make friends and you'll do less work.

They do communicate.

Very few are even present, when they are they seem to be stuck where they begin.

Career development doesn't take place, networking and friendship guide advancement, ability and professionalism don't even ride in the back seat, but in the trunk.

Pay is fair, benefits are horrible, but most are now.

Again, if you know and are on a friendly status with the right people, these things are considered, if you are not, watch out.

Company Image

The image the project is happy, fun, productive. Employee talk is geared towards complaints about how things are handled, how even the "fun" isn't "fun" because it's corrupted, and most try to do the bare minimum.

Job Security

It's very much like a full dryer running with the door open, most fall out, the ones that stay have clinged to those in positions of power.

No, I use to, but that was extinguished at this place.

More diversity than a lot of other companies.

Suggestions for improvement

  • Review your leadership, when you see one line of business go through several Operation Managers, big turn around on employees, and frequent demotions after promotions. This is a sign that your CURRENT leadership is the issue. So take out the bad seed, instead of just constantly replacing those that leave because of the problem.

What I like about the company

They are a BOP, so they provide a lot of call center help for other companies. I like the fact that not all lines of business are the same. So one line of business may have great leadership, while another may really have a corrupt leadership.
