Freedom to work independently
Only some people
Jimmy johns is terrible at communication. Todays rules may not be enforced tomorrow and new rules pop up all the time. People getting in trouble for something theyve always done but now its a rule. But later they wont get in trouble for the same thing, or someone else can get away with it always.
No way. I as a woman was making less than a man with far less expirence in the same position.
Attitude towards older colleagues
No they were treated poorly, its a young persons company.
They were desperate for managers so anyone could become one.
Overall compensation for your work
The lowest ive seen. Basically just above minimum wage. Getting raises was very difficult.
Absolutely not. You were expected to always put work first.
They never hired anyone with disabilities so I dont know.
Suggestions for improvement
- Better pay and structured times when raises can be offered. And have it a set amount that you can qualify for.
What I like about the company
There was great insurance for full time employees. Sometimes the boss would buy breakfast for me. I made really good money.
What I dislike about the company
Enforcement of rules was all over the place. One person could get away with something while others got in trouble for it. A lot of playing favorites. Stay consistent. Train every employee and really work with everyone. Treat full time employees better, they're majorly helping you run your business.
