Severe lack of communication.
Same career opportunities if you play by the rules. If you work hard, they take advantage of you. If you act slow, they don't expect much out of you
Attitude towards older colleagues
Longer you've been here, more respect you get and less average worker expects of you.
Only move up if you know someone or if people like you. Recognition is only given if other coworkers are your friends. Management personally says if you are doing a great job but doesn't vocalize it in front of others or add it to your file. Yearly report on how you are doing not important anymore
Overall compensation for your work
Get paid very very well. Great benefits and vacation
Lots of overtime and weekend work. Don't get to exercise much outside of work for lack of time and don't get to see family much. Lots of turnaround with different shifts as well.
Employees complain a lot. Don't seem to want to do their work efficiently. Want to do as little as possible. Management degrades workers and says they are the problem working slow. Not encouraging atmosphere. Those that work hard aren't appreciated vocally by management and so thought is why should I do my best
Job is stable if the company continues but people are replaceable. As long as you've been here at least five years you won't have to worry. Based on seniority
They have some areas available but very little.
They encourage safety with words but take time to implement safety measures.
Easy work, but varying levels in different departments.
