I was proud to do the job I had, but frustrated when it came to management and it's supervisors - lack of compassion.
Suggestions for improvement
- The management, supervisors, and human resource department should all undergo new training as to how to treat their employees and how to be respective of others. As for the position itself, the systems should all be consoliadated instead of needing three to four systems open to do the job.
What I like about the company
If you focus on the job itself, you will feel VERY rewarded at the end of each shift. It is always good to know you were a part of making someone's bad day get better. It was a very fulfilling.
What I dislike about the company
The management and supervisors play favorites. They ask for opinions, then either disregard any that have been made, or scrutinize the suggestions that had any possibility of working. They are set in their ways and make work life unbearable for those who don't conform to their personalities (even if your production exceeds their expectations.). During my years there, more people quit over issues with managment and supervisors playing favorites than there were people fired and people quitting for other reasons combined. If management would listen and be more open minded about what ALL the staff has to say, things would be a lot different there, and have a LOT LESS turnover, and in turn, happier staff.
