Suggestions for improvement
- Instead of berating managers give them workable systems. You talk about systems but do not really communicate a systemic framework. All talk and no walk. The regional sales manager was the only one who was ever of any help. Weekly audits are time consuming and your periodic audit system is discouraging.
I like about the employer
Salary as store manager was very good.
I dislike about the employer
I left in 2007 so I hope they have changed. You have to figure things out. They talk about "systems" but other than systems like computer systems there are no established systems. I would field visit based upon what I thought. What a manager thinks is not always the best. There was never any communicated advice as to how to create a system. You are on your own and need to figure it out. I lasted four years as a manager and resigned exhausted, discouraged, and beat up.
