This is a great organization to work for. There's room to grow, benefits are excellent, and overall culture is pleasant.
For the most part, culture is a very important aspect of the organization and leadership strives to hire individuals that meet the organizational culture.
The company itself promotes work-life balance, but not all management promotes this.
Suggestions for improvement
- I would implement more flexibility across all departments without employees feeling any type of disapproval or tension from management.
What I like about the company
Most of the employees in the organization are a great fit within the culture and are great to work with. The push for personal growth from management, colleagues, etc. is very strong and employees are provided with multiple different methods to achieve growth. Seminars, on-site and off-site classes, tuition assistance, etc. The organization is very inclusive and does its best to get everyone involved in some type of team building or networking activity. After years of working here, it is not a place I see myself leaving any time soon. It is definitely an organization that a person could work at for decades and be happy at.
What I dislike about the company
There are some management personnel that are less flexible than others, despite the organization promoting a healthy work-life balance and flexibility when needed. It can create some tension and stress in different departments. There are also an abundance of meetings that I personally feel are not always necessary, especially with the amount of time they take. It takes away from work that needs to be completed.
