They only select certain races and limit so-called African Americans

They were only available through email communication and would only respond when they chose to.
There is no teamwork. You are all alone when contracting with this company.
Freedom to work independently
This was the only way you worked with very little or no support.
The staff doesn't train you very well and trying to get help or questions answered is like Russian roulette.
Overall compensation for your work
Working for this company and being paid was a joke. Hardly nothing was ever on the schedule and when there was a thirty minute block here and there, no calls came through.
There isn't any balance at all. Hours were never available. When I did find hours I was logged into the call taking system and would never receive any calls and you were paid per call, not per hour.
Suggestions for improvement
- This company needs to be ethical and adhere to EEOC. ACD Direct needs to improve in all areas, especially paying the ones that they do hire and stop taking all the money for themselves.
What I like about the company
I like the fact that it's simple work and you don't have to worry about a strict/stern QA system, which takes a lot of stress off the agents.
What I dislike about the company
Again, the company is not fair in it's hiring process. The staff practices discrimination. Need I say more?
