Suggestions for improvement
- There is no doubt they are a major employer of people in desperate situations. This is commendable but their incentives to lower labor and maintenance costs for short term gain will affect ihop in the future. Lack of over site of GM's and supervisors could lead to lawsuits on discrimination.
I like about the employer
I enjoyed my servers and the customers.
I dislike about the employer
Salaried employees are scheduled a minimum of 53 hours a week, but actually are required 65 hours per week without additional compensation. Supervisors and General Managers dissuaded from taking paid vacation, which cannot be accumulated.
Employees can be terminated if they do respond to work same day. Often worked 12 days without a day off.
