Women are NOT treated equally. I saw many instances where women were the most qualified and even the preferred candidate but politics such as "this male candidate is so-and-so's son" or an unqualified candidate was hired because of his church affiliation. The leadership at Acosta in Eden Prairie is predominantly Mormon and would hire "interns" without posting a position or interviewing for it. The "interns" were always male members of the Mormon church in their early 20's about to go off to do their mission work.
Overall Compensation for your work
Acosta does not pay a competitive wage. They have a 50-75% turnover rate depending on the department. The people that leave make 20-30% more money in their new jobs.
