Support from management
No they do not. They have very poor communication skills. They set you up for failure. Also they go thought Managers and E/C level employees very easily. Keeping a solid foundation is not a goal for them.
Honest and Direct, most of the time. Overly Blunt, Aggravated, and insulting are better description words.
Freedom to work independently
For the most time. But this changed with their leadership.
No. They lack communication skills.
Attitude towards older colleagues
Yes they do, but they dont last long. If your a senior and you work for this company you have been there for 5+ years
No. They were working on a employee development plan, but once that director was let go, they forgot all about it.
Overall compensation for your work
No it did not.
Office / Work Environment
This depends on your position. If you are in the NOC, or any position relating to Field work.... No, No they do not.
No. The way the upper level management dropped out was very uncomfortable and they let you know that you are replaceable
This was better with certain people they had in the Manager/Director position.
Suggestions for improvement
- Pay more attention to your employees, provide actual direction and stick to that. Send employees to Training that actually matters to them and the company. Having catered lunches only goes so far when you want to keep quality people working for you.
What I like about the company
They gave me a chance to show my leadership. But other than that, nothing. I didnt stay much longer after I became lead Project Coordinator
What I dislike about the company
HR is corrupt. They can not keep Upper Level Management in the company. While I was there for almost 2 years, they lost/let go the CIO, COO, VP of Field Services, Project Coordination Manager, Project Managers Manager, PMO Director, and Multipule Project Coordinators and Project Managers.
