Given some of the diagnosis and some of the other individual issues surrounding the clients, the job could be very challenging. However, upon completion of their unique goals and watching their pride and self-worth come back to them made it all worth it. I was proud to be a part of their lives rebuilding.
Suggestions for improvement
- Try to take notice even beyond the regular meetings to make sure all of the employees are doing ok. If a usually productive and eager employee starts cutting back, or begins to make unusual decisions investigate to see what the problem is. Even in personal matters, offer suggestions and insist on them getting help from others if a persistent problem could be seen as hindering or risk them losing their job.
