I have been with the company for 10 years now and I could not be happier about working for my employer. Their is such a wide variety of people it is great for diversity and to get to know and be a part of a real team
Support from management
Over the years I have become closer with management and they go above and beyond not just for me, but for our entire department.
Many of the yearly goals, especially in our department is to work well with others, to reach out and be a good team. We can only be successful working together and it's a team effort and not just one person that add to the success of the building.
Freedom to work independently
Once trained employees are trusted to work in an office or remotely which takes a lot of trust that work will get completed as it should be.
I feel we receive more communications than needed at time, but there are always times when something is missed.
I have not encountered any issues with women in the workplace.
Attitude towards older colleagues
In my department there are many older employess and they are treated with respect and not pushed out of the company. It's nice to know they aren't hoping for everyone to retire right when they can
There is room for growth if I so choose to move in that direction.
Overall compensation for your work
I cannot complain about my compensation. I am well taken care of when it comes to payment.
Office / Work Environment
I have a decent office space, with my own cubicle and that is more than comfortable.
I know we recycle within our buildings but I am not positive on the organization as a whole
My company strives very hard to stress the importance of the work/life balance. I am happy with how they allow us to balance our home lives with our work schedules. It has been a tremendous help with having kids and anything else that happens to come up.
I am so happy to be working for my employer and completely love my job.
Being in healthcare I believe all the buildings are handicap accessible.
I am in a secure building and we have security that monitors all buildings.
A lot of my work is repetitive but new policy and new software make it challenging on how I am able to do my job every day and I enjoy the challenge. It keeps work interesting.
Inclusive / Diverse
Diversity is stressed and one of the key goals for my company. It comes up in all goals and key focus points throughout the entire company.
Suggestions for improvement
- I don't have anything specific I would like to change aside from what was mentioned on the past screen. Less expensive portion to pay for healthcare and to let us accrue our Paid time off, but put a cap on in instead of not allowing it to roll over. Don't offer a pay out.
What I like about the company
My company recognizes caregivers for going above and beyond. They share positive stories with the organization to inspire and show everyone the positive. I feel I am recognized as a caregiver by the entire company, but also my by direct manager. I don't feel like what I do doesn't matter. I am extremely happy to be working for my company and even if my direct position goes away, I would look for another within the company to stay right where I am.
What I dislike about the company
They are currently reworking our healthcare and paid time off. I prefer the system we are currently using, but with a merge they are trying to make it more of an even balance of what each company was using. It will take away the amount of paid time off received as well as it not being rolled over. The health benefits, I thought would go down in cost considering we have added an exponential amount of employees, but the costs keep going up.
