What I like

This is a great company to work for. You are encouraged to be independent and to voice your concerns and opinions. I have found that the teamwork is excellent and the staff are mostly friendly. The benefits offered are comparable to other companies.

What I dislike

I believe the company could offer slightly higher wages. They are somewhat lower than other healthcare facilities in the area.

Suggestions for improvement

I would like to find a way to foster empathy between departments. I think each department works well together, but until you’ve walked in someone else’s shoes, it hard to see their perspective from their department

Company Culture

My department works very well as a team. Because of that teamwork, we offer excellent patient care

Internal Communication

There are daily emails relating what is happening in the organization. Our internal homepage also is a good form of communication

Work-Life Balance

My supervisor talks about this a lot. In my department in particular, most would agree we are offered a good work/life balance

Freedom to work independently

Definitely!

Challenging Work

My job is challenging in that every day is different. It offers me a chance to use my judgment and nursing training
