What I like
Open honest communication, not PC but also not abusive.
What I dislike
Constant expensive, disruptive and inefficient firefighting. Promoting based on "problem solving(firefighting)". Sole person resourcing of key capabilities. Too many fiefdoms.
Suggestions for improvement
Stop working to cure the daily emergency. Today's emergency was caused yesterday by assigning all the resources to yesterdays emergency ---to be repeated tomorrow. Detailed production schedules are created, it'd be more effective to work to them. Hold your supervisors and managers accountable for not making daily production - "I'll do twice as many tomorrow" is not alright Wimpy. Dual source more materials.
