Production comes above all else, employees are expected to sacrifice their family life. Management has plenty of time with their family.
Support from management
No communication from supervisors, unless it is negative.
Freedom to work independently
You are expected to complete work which others in higher pay grades cannot complete.
There are meetings for first shift employees only.
Women have more opportunity than men to obtain salary or clean office jobs.
Attitude towards older colleagues
Over 50 employees are not allowed training opportunities.
A small percentage of the work force gets all the training, and opportunities.
Overall compensation for your work
Benefits outside of pay are good for the area.
Office / Work Environment
Machines are not maintained, they are run to failure, causing extra work. There is no cleaning, so machines fail simply due to dirt.
They have a half acre garden to make up for the many acres they destroyed.
People are quitting due to being overworked, and not being allowed to have a life outside of work. Management has Every weekend off. Employees are punished if they use vacation time to try to recover from the overwork.
Image used to be very positive. Due to mismanagement, and poor treatment of employees, image is below average.
Training is talked about, but not actually done. Employees do not know what their responsibilities are. Employees are allowed to do anything for the sake of production. Employees are allowed to use machines and equipment that they do not have licenses for.
Co-workers will give you positive feedback for a job well done. Management will only acknowledge certain employees.

There is plenty of diversity.
Suggestions for improvement
- Management should think about the future. Management should learn or care about how people are being treated unfairly.
What I like about the company
They pay every two weeks, and have a good 401K program.
What I dislike about the company
They force employees to work far more than 5 days in a row before allowing any time off. Management will not leave their offices to see the dirty conditions they are asking people to work in. Plant is kept very cold, with air conditioning on maximum even throughout winter.
