Culture reflects a who knows who gets promoted culture.
Support from management
Really depends on your manager and if they know what they are doing. I have seen many cases where it is a new manager to the business and they take up to a year to understand what their job actually is.
Depends on the team
Freedom to work independently
With no supervision
Although they have an VP of communications this area seems to be lacking
expect none, ride out your 2-3 years and see how far you fall behind.
Overall compensation for your work
They pay less than market rate. They expect talent with houston prices.
The blue collar plant staff is one of the best,
They try and hire as many safety professionals but honestly a major incident with lives lost will be the only thing that slows the greed.
Suggestions for improvement
- The HR team needs to work at other firms to see how it is done at actual employers who are of choice.
What I like about the company
Staff, main ones at the actual production facility
What I dislike about the company
Management - They don't even know the workers names. They are aiming to fast and not enough bones to support the growth. No systems in place with revolving door talent.
