Leadership tends to show more concern for parents than for teachers.
Much of professional development was done on one's own.
Overall compensation for your work
Teachers were paid poorly compared to their public school counterparts.
There is a true element of favoritism by leadership. They did not follow their own rules. They kept who they liked and found ways to get rid of folks that they did not.
Suggestions for improvement
- They should follow their evaluation process as described in their employee manual.
What I like about the company
There was a true desire to educate young folks in meangingful ways amongst faculty and staff.
What I dislike about the company
They do not treat their teachers well. If one was to create a hierarchy of who they respect it would be parents, students, alumni, staff, and then teachers. Ironic as the teachers are the glue.
