It is a Christian organization but many times it feels like those values don't apply to employees.
Support from management
Employee suggestions are rarely considered. Certain employees are favored over others (i.e. vacations, talking, productivity standards, etc.)
Attitude towards older colleagues
The longer you work here the less you make. Vacations are not determined by seniority, but by first come, first serve.
They do not pay extra for getting more certifications/credentials.
Overall compensation for your work
The max raise they are allowed to give is 2% a year.
Office / Work Environment
Very outdated department with no windows and old non-ergonomic chairs and desks.
Suggestions for improvement
- To remember that the employees are also their patients. Our spouses, children, parents, siblings, friends, neighbors and fellow churchgoers are ALL their patients. If they don't treat their employees well then they are not treating their patients well and word gets around.
What I like about the company
That it is a Christian organization. My fellow employees are the best thing about ABMC.
What I dislike about the company
They don't value or appreciate their employees.
