Suggestions for improvement
- Attendance policy could be adjusted.
What I like about the company
They provide training, there is room to move within the company. They provide yearly reviews, paid time off, and bonus incentives. They provide benefits, and Monday through Friday work schedual. Hours are guaranteed.
What I dislike about the company
Although they provide paid time off, they severely frown upon sick time. I've often gone to work ill, or let my sick child in the care of a babysitter because absences for sickness can affect my bonus, and can result in reprimand. The "talk" they have with you is how you can improve on your level of absenteeism due to sickness, which seems a bit ridiculous. I don't find this concept to be family friendly, which is unfortunate, because they could allow you to use your banked paid vacation for sick time, but they don't. I am a mother, and only miss work when I or my child are severely sick. When people attend work sick, they get other people sick. I do not belive it is good practice to force employees to go to work sick due to fear of it affecting their job.
