Its pretty much do what I say or else.
Support from management
Hardly see them or talk too them, you cost them money and they don't review so expect a fight for a pay raise that's overdue. Promotions are a pipe dream so be ready !
Mostly everyone works together but the crane operators seem to put themselves above others. Its sad because most of them are not certified and are hazardous to the construction industry.
Freedom to work independently
They track your where you go through GPS, dispatchers are constantly calling you and won't leave you alone because they want to hurry and get another job done. Take heed that they will send you to Miami at 4:00 pm after a long days work to put in another eight hours.
Management relies on the dispatchers who have no organizational skills, don't take blame, and lie. The woman in the office are related to someone in the company so be careful if you have a dispute about another coworker.
No female crane operators or management
Attitude towards older colleagues
If your not part of the after work crew scene, you better have a strong defense.
Doesn't exist within the company. They do not pay for certifications or reimburse for CDL training but they will allow time off not paid if its available.
Overall compensation for your work
Pay is decent but pay raises are not. Time in a half on overtime but you will have to come back to work without proper rest.
Office / Work Environment
Bathrooms are always nasty except in the office. Regular employees are not allowed to use the office break room. Be almost certain if you work outside a dermatologist appointment will have to be made at the end of the year.
People are not friendly.
Work long hours sometimes pulling triple shifts, the pay is good then but no life at all.
Most customers will tell you Allegiance was the only ones they could find that were available not the only ones that could do the job.
If you keep your head down and do a decent job without messing up to many times you will retain employment.
Have big door in the back and a entrance in the front.
It is up to you to be aware of the dangers around you. They will tell you to go climb the crane or shelf, just tell them no its not safe.
Its very challenging and not worth what they pay unless there is no other option.
Inclusive / Diverse
Mostly white guys and some laborers who have little English skills.
