Suggestions for improvement
- I would fix the system first and foremost as that alone would save so much money in the long run. I would also make it so that there are more offices rather than just cubicles for everyone because while some places think cubicles help productivity, the people on the front line disagree. I also would like to change the lines of communication from mid-management to front line people and inter-department. I also would make it so that working remotely would be available to all responsible employees and not just management.
What I like about the company
I have had a rough year health-wise and my boss and company has been willing and able to work with me as I deal with my health issues so that my work is still getting done in a timely manner and I'm making my hours.
What I dislike about the company
There is a big disconnect between mid-management and the employees on the front line. There's also a serious disconnect between departments, ie. IT and Accounting. Communication lines really need to be worked on there. There's also a major issue in regards to the system that is used for entering flights and for accounting. It's a very old and very flawed system that instead of wasting further time and money on fixing to get it to work "just a bit longer" or adding automated features to it because upper management wanted this feature when it's still a manual system overall and really just adds more labor and stress to the employees who have to deal with it, that time and money should really be invested in a new system that actually does work the way it's supposed to work.
