Do not get a job here and expect to move up in a career. If you dedicate your life to this company there is a good chance the new CEO will fire you.
Overall compensation for your work
Their is no compensation for your work. Its a hospital, a large company for the community size but the starting pay is not good, you will be told that they do raises each year based on surrounding pay for your job description. THAT IS A LIE 100% A BOLD FACED LIE!!!! you can work here fore 3+ years and not see a single cent raise.
The community does not like this hospital and I can't blame them. I work here and I still go to a different hospital.
HAHAHA!!!! no such thing.
The work is challenging because you are expected to complete an impossible work load.
Suggestions for improvement
- Pay your employees! After 3 years of working here I have received ONE .25 cent raise. I work hard and I do job well but I do not feel that it is appreciated at all. The upper staff CEO, CFO, HR get their pay from HCA and do not depend on the hospital for their salary pay like everyone else does. The work load is unacceptable for the compensation.
What I like about the company
My boss is great, very flexible with the home life schedule.
What I dislike about the company
The CEO is going to run this hospital into the ground and it will end up closing. He does not care about the people who work at this place and if you bring concerns or questions to him YOU WILL BE FIRED!!!! make no mistake about it. and forget going to HR with any questions or concerns about how the CEO is destroying the company... she is his best friend so she can't be trusted to listen without having a bias view.
