I was impressed with how many managers who worked there for so long. But I can't help but think that when you have a family, it's not that easy to change jobs.
Support from management
Better training & support, Less micromanaging. And the other side, meaning Corporate needs to come out and do our job for a week and vice a versa.
Freedom to work independently
Overall compensation for your work
Could have paid more considering the age of building, the state of how the office was left in, unfinished work, possibly better bonus or incentives.
I blame myself for half on this one, because its up to us to set boundaries, so sometimes my workaholic tendencies come out.
On the Company end they did expect alot for such a small property and thought it all could be accomplished in 30 hrs a week. Not possible!
Image was great! Company took advantage of all social media
I felt like my job was always at risk. Constant pressure to maintain 100% occupancy. I worked hard.
Suggestions for improvement
- Less division between maintenance and management.
What I like about the company
Open door policy. Was able to do upgrades. Owners were nice. And the welcome baskets for the new move ins.
What I dislike about the company
Wish we had more consistent monthly manager meetings. Better pay, less micro-managing.not enough maintenance hours.
