Support from management
Without my business manager my coworker and I would not be the associates we are today. But it varies property to property. Upper management is barely there; depending on your regional and VP.
Suggestions for improvement
- Don't understaff, I've noticed that a lot on many properties. Hire regionals from within or they will never sympathize with your employees or keep an eye on your properties; i.e. Investments.
What I like about the company
As a company we are a whole team. You meet amazing people who are there to help whenever you need it. Great programs online to help teach you the basics and more. Compensation is great! Depending on how well you lease and keep up those KPI's.
What I dislike about the company
Upper management should really reconsider who they hire as regionals. If your regional only has experience as a broker, their knowledge in property management will be weak. Therefore, making it harder for associates and managers who actually know what they can and cannot do with residents harder. Again, it all depends on who you hire. However, I know for a fact regionals who start from within and know the ropes of the business are Much more sympathetic to situations we endure in the front lines. No support will mean your team will fail.
