Suggestions for improvement
- Make managers accountable. If 9 out of 10 people who work for the same manager quit or get fired for bad performance, is it really the employee that is the problem? Or could it possibly be the lack of guidance.

I dislike about the employer
Management answers to no one. Employees are micromanaged to the point of feeling as if there is a constant weight on your shoulders. All employees are put in the same box regardless of their expertise. A former police chief with extensive investigative experience is treated the same as someone straight out of college. Management never says good job, but always point out every minor mistake that is made. There is absolutely no room for error. Only those who excel at everything are given raises & long time employees are all hanging by a thread. No one wants to work there in the current conditions. The management sucks, they are unapproachable, while claiming they have an open door policy. It is a jail sentence and my advice to any person considering a job at Allstate in NY, is take the job to get experience & get out as soon as you get offered a job ANYWHERE else.
