Goals are set but hardly attained, the environment is fast pace but stressful with lots of critique and not always critiqued properly.
Freedom to work independently
Workload evenly distributed due to programming, the only lack of balance is individuals who cannot catch on and are too slow to assist others properly.
Equal opportunity to learn this job, my opinion is,women are able to multi task and learn this job, quicker and have a higher success rate at it.
Attitude towards older colleagues
Difficult environment to work in mostly appears to be a trait amongst call centers. Appreciation is not overly apparent nor is longevity rewarded monetarily.
Advancement not impossible and encouraged but definitely not rewarded with fair pay raises.
Overall compensation for your work
Benefits being offered for smaller scale company are very good. Starting pay and raises on par with skills generally, under paid for work load.
There is constant room for improvement and learning, once the job is learned and you become proficient it becomes very repetitive.
Suggestions for improvement
- New hiring process and raise in pay, less not puck attacks on employees that feel personal and targeted.
What I like about the company
Very friendly family owned and made people feel welcome.
What I dislike about the company
A tight knit management team that fan be very biast, the pay is on lower side and good help is hard to find so generally under staffed due to hiring incapable new employees.
