Support from management
Rivers guide were like family
Freedom to work independently
On occasions we were told how company was doing
Attitude towards older colleagues
I was appreciated, until co-manager screwed things up.
Some moved on with company, others moved elsewhere
Overall compensation for your work
My salary was slightly below some, no benefits, paid on time.
Office / Work Environment
Some guide housing was great, others in tents contending with dust, wind n such, not so good
To a point
Hours are normal for seasonal job
AAE is a great company
Seasonal work, return yearly if you did a good job
We providid trips for disabled.
Yes, sufficient training for river guides
I did feel a sense of accomplishment until co-manager interfered.
Inclusive / Diverse
Suggestions for improvement
- Remove the negative people (as you finally did) and recruit Like personalities.
What I like about the company

What I dislike about the company
Not AAE, just a co-manager whom they finally got rid of. Yeah!
