Too liberal to be honest their policies were far left and pushed at you even if you didn’t believe in the left view.
Support from management
I had my first supervisor require billing on 12 patients during orientation. She did not orient me and the 9 hours required was not feasible~ so the upper management felt it was a bad fit and switched me to a new supervisor.
The new one was angry that I wanted time off after my 18 year old nephew committed suicide. Just one example of their ongoing much needed revamp on truly helpful supervisor material.
When they promoted one pediatric oncology case manager, they had refused to split her cases. I had 30 cases and they were handing me 20 new and opened involved cases to add to my load. No one could be found to fill my shoes when I left at that point. I spent easily 12 hours daily working. Horrible.
Co-workers were somewhat helpful at times, but if you need true help you’re on your own.
Office / Work Environment
It was from Home but like I say you never see the light of day.
Zero stars~ they expect miracles and an hours based workday of 9 hours per day. Depending on the case load assigned, you may be overloaded and unable to complete their demands or they will expect you to do creative billing on your caseload. You live at your desk.
When Obamacare began failing, it was very often the management threatened lay offs because off loss of companies business. This was at Christmas time and also summer, when Work options/slowed and joining companies /groups slowed down.
In a bad way yeah you’ve got yourself a challenge.
Suggestions for improvement
- Fire all and rehire the right type of management.
