The company culture begins in a supportive manner, but soon after turns negative if you like the work that you perform.
Support from management
Overall, the leadership is more focused on favoritism, rather than performance. The employees really don't have a lot of say so regarding changes or decisions.
The co-workers interact positively amongst each other.
Freedom to work independently
Working independently is okay, but if you enjoy what you do or have higher than average call quality and adherence, upper management and leadership tends to look at you negatively, like an over achiever rather than an exceptional employee.
Typically, you'll need to send an email and wait for a response...up to a week-even with important, pressing issues. The company ensures that the latest information regarding benefits, stocks and other company news are available via the intra-net. The chain of command is more so catered towards the company versus you, rather than finding out the truth about the issue or situation.
I didn't notice any difference in the treatment between men versus women, however between employees the pay rate was about the same.
Attitude towards older colleagues
The company does hire Seniors. I would say that seniors are not treated any differently than any other age group.
My prospects for growth and professional development have lead me into entrepreneurship. it allows me to openly and positively reward hard work and dedication in the form of dividends an monies.
Overall compensation for your work
Compensation is a little higher than most at $13.00/ hr.
Office / Work Environment
The office and work environment is comfortable and supportive of working in a contact center.
The company supports environmental friendliness on about an average scale, with recycle bins.
The work life balance is typically fair when it comes to days off...it's the coming back that hurts you-documentation or no documentation.
I was until I experienced discrimination of image; obviously utilizing my salary to obtain better things.
Not at all. favoritism is the key. It's not what you know, but who.
I didn't see any assistance for the handicapped.
Overall, the company does comply with safety regarding work and the environment in which you work in.
I am proud of my work as an individual. With Healthways I took pride in helping those with chronic illnesses live a healthier lifestyle. I strive for excellence in my own community.

Diversity is not celebrated or shunned. You looked at as an employee. The ideas of one group are not supported more than another.
Suggestions for improvement
- To ensure a fair and supportive relationship between the employees and the company, throughly investigate all claims and repremeands before making a final decision; ensure that all parties involved are treated fairly; take care in deciding what an appropriate disipline would be.
What I like about the company
I like the salary, the people in general and the overall purpose of the company.
What I dislike about the company
I didn't like the manner of disciplinary action taken against employees.
