They hire alot of diverse individuals and do send us out for alot of trainings.
I was promoted for my hard work without asking for a promotion.
Excellent tuition remission program. Nice College campus. Lots of school improvements. Im working for an excellent boss. Hours are great.

Employees don't like

the compensation is not quite up tot par. the president harasses those below him and the HR Manager just wants to flex her muscles to compensate for how low the President makes her feel.
Policies are often not clear. Not student-focused. Number driven
Overall I think issues that arise take a long time yo resolve. Sometimes it seems top heavy. Support staff should be praised for their dedicated work instead of being overlooked by titles.
They constantly outsource causing employees to not have loyalty.
High turnover in upper management the past several years.

Suggestions for improvement

Start investing in support staff so people stay. Currently the turnover rate in the last five years has been high. HR needs to learn how to value an employee not act as if they are god. There lies a problem.
Office issues should be better handled by HR all employees should be held accountable.
More collaboration, student centered approach
Get rid of that HR Manager!
Reorganizing and sticking to the 90 probation period for new employees that aren't a good fit. We tend to keep people that aren't right for a position create issues then wait for them to leave.
