Still utilizing old culture and has not taken the step forward to where they wish to be in the BPO environment. Will they remain a 2 site small operations shop? Or will they do as they say and continue to grow to a $100 million company?
Support from management
Leadership too enthralled with being in the middle of agent level situations and not strategically driving this company through its double digit growth.
Too political and not a lot of teaming between departments and organizations.
No vision or strategic direction provided by VP's nor company's COO. The latter worries too much about day to day operations and doesn't use his stature to provide a working culture of communication.
There is absolutely no career development and advancements are subjected to who you know, not the job you produce daily.
Overall compensation for your work
By far the lowest for agents, management staff. Senior level management compensated well though.
Office / Work Environment
The worst BPO company I have worked for in terms of office layouts, working conditions, badging, etc.
Company does not participate in socially driven events nor is it a part of the culture to develop those relationships on your own.
Don't expect a lot of time from their management which is a good and bad thing.
Job security relies on who you know, not the job you do. If you cross her the wrong way she works night and day to find something on you in order for you to get removed from the company.
This should be a good score but its really indicative of the amount of chaos that exudes itself within the daily environment that causes the challenging work atmosphere.
Suggestions for improvement
- So many suggestions for improvement. Start at the agent level, increasing either their overall wages or look at changing hiring process as it helps spur attrition along with horribly driven management team. This company experiences 350%+ attrition that needs to be addressed. Need management cohesion and a state of purpose or the growth will swallow this company up and sink it in to the ground. There are a few, very bright Executive Directors that understand the vision of where they need to go to accomplish their lofty growth projections. Utilize their experience and empower them to address the many, many, many issues that still remain at this company.
What I like about the company
I liked it before certain individuals made it to VP level. Since then, it is a toxic environment to work in and she is horrific example in a leadership role.
What I dislike about the company
Lack of corporate culture and vision for the company. No vision or mission statement that makes sense to the direction the company is supposedly taking in terms of growth. COO needs to provide the strategic framework for where the company is going, how it plans to get there, and the steps it will require to make it a reality.
