It's all about the owners. "Anybody can do this job."
Support from management
No planning ahead, always trying to "put out fires" To many supervisors lack of communication between departments. Tell people what they think they want to here but no follow through.
Team work amongst the workers, but not management.
Freedom to work independently
Only because I know what I'm doing.
Only if they have time. Nothing is consistent.
We have no women on the floor on our side, just in the office. In molding side there are, production
Attitude towards older colleagues
They have a hard time getting younger people. Not as many mold makers out there. We are "primadonna's"
Overall compensation for your work
Absolutely not. I pay $700/month for my wife and I insurance. Haven't had a raise or review in 4 years. Moved down here using our own money. Started working then he took $1 away from what we agreed on. Then got that back after a year. My last raise. 6 days payed holiday per year
Office / Work Environment
Air conditioning is cold in 1 room hot in the other. Lighting is bad, they have sensors on them always going off. Wash basin has mold growing in it.
Card board only
Bad that's all I can say.
The owners are older the children don't want anything to do with the business except show me the money.
No have to use the back door if its open.
Only because they have been sued several times.
Always have 40 years in this business you have to do your best or you won't survive.
Inclusive / Diverse
