Support from management
Leadership is chosen usually based on who's been here longer but there are some people (like all businesses) who try to throw others under the bus to get ahead. Ultimately you'll have your favorite supervisors and some you don't like, as is life.
Finding a good partner is far and few with so many people constantly coming in and leaving. But finding a great partner is like getting a good hand in poker cherish it while you have it.
Suggestions for improvement
- Team building activities would humanize the supervisors and allow them to get to know the underlings. And better/additional equipment.
What I like about the company
It's a great place to get your foot into EMS. It is absolutely entry level and shouldn't be treated as anything more. If you want to make a career here, it's possible but it's usually for people looking for experience to put on a resume.
What I dislike about the company
I'm not a fan of the favoritism but that comes through differing personalities. My largest pet peeve would be the lack of crucial equipment. No pulse oximetry, no aed on the units... Very limited.
