Company Culture

The company is a hostile environment. Supervisor do not care about their employees! There is no fairness or trust in that company. There is to much favoritism there and if you aren't family then they will not be on your side even though you work your rear end off!

Support from management

There is no decision making involving the employee. The managers and upper management says their door is always open but go ahead and try and see what happens.

Freedom to work independently

The workload is never distributed fairly due to the lack of employees in the dept. so your workload is overwhelming and the goals they set are not realistic. The dept is always changing things and not being able to meet your goals cause they are not responsible.

Attitude towards older colleagues

There are seniors that work there and they are so sweet! Long-serving colleague like myself were NEVER appreciated or supported! If you weren't family to management then you will be the minority. The company has a BIG turn over and no one hardly stays due to the way company treats you. I was Top 3 in my dept. ALOT and I got nothing in return. Not even a "hey good job". But instead they let me go not caring at all I was the top 3 in my dept.

Office / Work Environment

Don't get up from your seat or you will get in trouble. They count how many times you go to the bathroom. So if you have an infection like I did, it doesn't matter. You will get in trouble for getting up out of your seat for going to the bathroom.

Work-Life Balance

If you want offor of work, forget it or you will get in trouble. The employees family is not taken into consideration. You will work every holiday. I was there working every holiday and there is ALOT of peer pressure of working over time when they tell you a couple of hours that day that you have to stay or else.

Company Image

No, the employees do not talk fondly of the company at all. The image the company gives is false.

Job Security

They will get rid of you in a heart beat. The job is not stable and not enough training with the amount of work load you get.

Inclusive / Diverse

There are no opinions for the employees and if you have an idea they will shoot down your idea.

Suggestions for improvement

  • Put your employees first and they might not leave! Managers need more training on the computers cause they have no idea what theyou are doing. When an employee has been there for awhile and yall still treat them like dirt, try to be nicer and actually listen to the employee since most of the employees have been there longer then most of the managers there. Get to actually know your employees and LISTEN!!!

Company Culture

A classic toxic work environment; nepotism, lack of security, and playing favorites was a daily occurrence.

Teamwork

The "lower echelons" of the company tended to ban together, and anyone who lasted more than 6 months typically ended up with a good core group of friends

Freedom to work independently

Company is solely focused on numbers- the more you produce, the better.

Internal Communication

No clue as to management changes, massive layoffs, or shift/ position changes until the time of. You very rarely know what you're walking into on a day-to-day when it comes to the company structure.

Career Development

Small company, so typically a little less movement potential to begin with, but they play favorites to a great extent.

Work-Life Balance

As long as you're not too "high ranking", you typically work your hours, and that's it- nothing more.

Company Image

I never really ever met anyone there (in 2 years) that *enjoyed* their job. At best, it was an acceptable paycheck and standard benefits

Challenging Work

If you enjoy bartering/ negotiating this would be an ideal environment- if you're not into pressuring people to lower costs/ doing something they don't want, you'll be uncomfortable

What I like about the company

Good starting point when you're trying to move from retail to office environment- they hire from temp agencies and hire young

What I dislike about the company

Classic toxic work environment; owner is (was? I haven't kept in touch) only focused on profit and keeping up appearances. I witnessed some things I'm convinced were borderline illegal, and employees were expendable.
