The workers are great and committed but many directors and VPs and higher are either very disconnected or very egotistical. There is no balance in leadership styles. And if they don't like you, you don't have a future. And don't show that people trust your opinion more than your boss or your boss may get jealous.

Management is always right. Your ideas that are good become theirs.
Overall compensation for your work
My salary was great but my bonus was left to the very subjective opinion of my boss and I never met my boss' boss ( which was another issue with the company leadership)
There is none. The company cannot adjust for business times when there are implementations.
