As recruitment it all sounded very good and a pretty picture painted. After training you are left alone to basically figure things out, at first told a couple months then 6 months then a year to see results
Support from management
As I stated I would ask what can I do differently to help better the outcome? Answer always the same you are doing everything right just be patient and wait for the blessing, after a year and it had not come I started looking elsewhere
After I met one person about 9 months in I began to see the correct way of doing things until that point I had been told you are doing everything correctly Dona just be patient the blessing will come from upline. I was asking for help over and over and told the same thing.
Freedom to work independently
You had to work independently.
Except for one person I met 9 months in and our team meeting that she led did we have good communication, there was really only facebook notices otherwise.
There were so many women that the men got lost in the team meetings and had to be apologized to all the time.
Attitude towards older colleagues
Came across great but maybe I just wanted to see it that way.
To get your 1st promotion you needed 10 people at the same time that you had hired. I could never get 10, I would get 9 and then 1 would leave. Yet some people got it right away they were the ones who used family and friends when they first started got the promotion and then they would fall off.
Overall compensation for your work
I put more work into my position than I ever had to in my life. Even when I was a General Manager I did not have that much work.
Office / Work Environment
Again life/work balance off, could not get answers when questions were asked of uplines
We had conference call training on daily basis, however you were always having to listen to the tapes on your own time as you would fall behind in your call count or your lead generation.
I truly feel that AmeriPlan has a good product and helps a great number of people who could not have dental and medical benefits afford the benefits they need.
Now I think I can see that they only wait until you get fed up with it all and leave.

Suggestions for improvement
- Have a trainer on each team instead of the Benefit Consultant doing the hiring the enrolling and the training (there is not enough time to train adequately)
