When I was employed by this company Ameritech was yet to finalize the "buy out." Meaning lower wages for those employees such as myself. And favoritism was very much prevailing through out the work environment.
Support from management
Gossip killed honesty and integrity
Freedom to work independently
This is a cost savings measure
Not so much.
This is a true statement. There were many females that were "leads" in the company.
Attitude towards older colleagues
I observed a few older individuals being let go because they were not able to meet their quota.
The company I had worked for did offer advancements within the company

Rarely would the building he heated and in the summer there is no A/C - because it's a laundry facility the odor was intolerable.
Yes, there were bins to separate cardboard, plastic and trash.
You never knew when you were able to clock out.

The company did hold safety meetings.

- To stop gossip and favoritism and to redefine it's point system

The positive features included it's benefits package and it's first shift available only.
What I dislike about the company
The favoritism that was obvious and how filthy the environment was.
