Support from management
Managers would talk down to supervisors and talk about employees. They would talk over the supervisors and show no respect for them
Very few dept had teamwork. One dept had a lot of teamwork but they ran the supervisor off. He had been at the company over 15 yrs. I think 18. He was a great guy to work for but they didn't give him any respect and we're always threatening his job so he left.
The managers would act like we were all to stupid to understand anything then act like they wee going to tell us then say "never mind. I'm not supposed to say anything
They have their favorites. You will find that out very quick once the new wears off
Office / Work Environment
You can do whatever you want. They can't fire anyone because their reputation is so bad they were not get bad employees
All they want now is numbers. The supervisor that is left in one area just sits upstairs with his boss and doesn't watch quality or the employees. Doesn't treat people very well at all and his boss says nothing about it
No one cares about growth or improvement of employees only numbers and covering up mistakes.
Suggestions for improvement
- Redo the upper management and bring some of the people that have left back. I know since the company sold a few years ago they have lost alotbif good people and of coarse it was because they were bad employees or can't handle change.
What I like about the company
Most of the people I worked with on the floor felt left out and isolated so we all felt like we were in the same boat so we got along well.
What I dislike about the company
Management really brow beats everyone. The Manufacturing Manager really talks about the supervisors and employees badly. Degrading them all the time. I think this was one of the big reasons that one Supervisor left. He had over 25 yrs in the industry and quit. I'm thinking about quitting myself. I feel very uncomfortable in meetings
