Suggestions for improvement
- A supportive managerial staff that actually participates in daily necessary tasks. Proper delegation of specifics tasks to those employees having the desire and skill set to accomplish. Each employee being held accountable for their mistakes and a supervisor that isn't afraid of confrontation so badly they won't force an employee to adhere to SOPs.
What I like about the company
As a public service job, we are often rewarded in knowing that we have helped a citizen. Although it is few and far between, we sometimes receive compliments and gratitude from the public. There is moderate paid leave available.
What I dislike about the company
Lack of managerial support. Administrative staff is content in operating the way they always have, without regard for improving and/or making the work environment and productivity better. We are grossly underpaid when compared to surrounding jurisdictions, a major problem for recruitment and retention.
