Surrounded by the "buddy system"
Support from management
My supervisor pretty much set me up for failure. He was not the one that hired me so I think he wanted someone else. I felt like he and his boss gave me no support. They would even have meetings with my peers and talk about me.
I call this the scarcity syndrome. It's more of a personal problem but is generated and/or fed by management. People don't want to share and trade info because they are insecure about their position.
There are too many closed doors and closed meetings
My position required me to be on call 24/7 Ridiculous
My husband worked for the company for 18 years and then got laid off for no reason other than politics. It has brought us to a very very hard place.
