The company culture is unclear and changes as the administration sees fit.
Support from management
Leadership does not clearly express their expectations and does not express those expectations to all staff consistently. Employees are not supported or are their needs and experiences taken into consideration when decisions are made.
Some shifts work well together, collaborate on tasks, and interact well. While other shifts work as individuals rather her than as a team.
Information is often shared by word of mouth by coworkers instead of being effectively communicated by leadership or managers.
Women are treated equally. No problems.
Attitude towards older colleagues
Older workers are hired and appreciated. No problems in this area.
There are programs for employees to advance but the programs are announced. And those selected are not the best but those that the supervisor favors and gives preferential treatment to.
Overall compensation for your work
Compensation is poor for entry and mid level staff while directors and senior leadership are paid highly despite education and experience.
Office / Work Environment
The work environment was ok but there were often times when supplies were limited or nonexistent. There were often several times when equipment was not working properly despite steps to fix them in a timely manner.
There is no clear recycling program or method of demonstrating any level of eco-consciousness
Employee families are not considered only those of leadership and physicians. There is often pressure or intimidation to work additional time.
I was not proud to work for this company after learning of their reputation in the field of service.
The job was stable and there was not risk of job loss. Turnover was high due to poor leadership not organizational restructuring.
The facility was handicap accessible. No issues in this area.
The working environment was safe. No issues in this area.
The work is not challenging. The staff, mainly leadership, makes it mentally difficult to do the work asked.
Inclusive / Diverse
Diversity of people appeared tone valued. But diversity of ideas was often ignored and turned away.
Suggestions for improvement
- Take care of the patient needs. Show your employees that you care more about patient's mental health needs and now just making money.
