Company Culture

Poor moral. Everyone is just there to collect a paycheck because there is no direction and no support and no feedback.

Support from management

Non-existent with the exception of one office manager that makes and effort, but can only do so much.

Teamwork

Not an atmosphere for teamwork because no clear message is provided to groups.

Freedom to work independently

You are pretty much on your own for anything and everything, but they do review video tapes to micromanage how you spend your time.

Internal Communication

Non-existent. No one is on the same page because of this.

Gender Equality

All genders are treated the same, anyone who may have connections in the community that management may want to capitalize on are treated differently, but gender does not play a role in this.

Attitude towards older colleagues

I did not see any difference in treatment or hiring based on age.

Career Development

There is no path and it is a dead end job, there is no attempt to develop employees, even as far as cross training.

Overall compensation for your work

There is no clear understanding of how salary is determined but the pay overall seems to better here than with other positions locally in the industry.

Office / Work Environment

It is an overall acceptable physical environment.

Environmental Friendliness

They recycle their shred. But that is the extent.

Work-Life Balance

Hours are reasonable and in most cases they will accomadate your family needs as they arise...but on a case by case basis.

Company Image

Unfortunately the Agency does not have a positive or respected image overall in the communities they are located in.

Job Security

Job stability was the one plus with this company until they recently began cutting expenses.

Handicapped Accessibility

Not observed one way or the other.

Workplace Safety

Too often employees are left to work alone at some locations with a lot of cash. No safety training or direction is given.

Challenging Work

Order-taker environment.

Inclusive / Diverse

The company doesn't really listen or hear ideas or opinions.

Suggestions for improvement

  • Hire a General Manager outside of the family, and give them the authority to actually organize and run the business.

What I like about the company

Co-workers

What I dislike about the company

There is no direction or goals, no transparency regarding overall company performance, no training or support, inconsistency in everything and lack of follow through; overall poorly managed with poor moral. The management seems to have no interest in the employees at all.
