Suggestions for improvement
- The employer allows new attorneys to develop, but then needs to pay them to stick around.
I like about the employer
Show initiative, and even as a newly starting attorney, you will quickly be doing court appearances, arguing motions, taking/defending depositions. As a small firm, it is a great place to get a boatload of experience early on in your career.
Additionally, the expected billable hours are quite low compared to other firms; 6-6.5 hours a day. Keep in mind that, as your case progresses towards trial, you'll be expected to all the necessary prep work, which necessarily involves exceeding that daily quota
