Supervisor focuses only on bad things/mistakes
Support from management
Some workers are expected to do ALL of the work while others do nothing at all. Then more work is added on. Not very well organized.
Some employees are very helpful while others ignore or become irritated with your questions. There is no training process, I was thrown in with only one day of training and was expected to know my job flawlessly after that.
Freedom to work independently
All the work is thrown on the front desk associates. Anytime something new comes up that has to be done, the front desk ends up being responsible for it.
Meetings are held in one office out of 5 total offices. If you are not in that office that day, you will not find out anything about that meeting until possibly days later.
Mostly women working besides 2 or 3 men. Mostly due to the field of work.
Attitude towards older colleagues
People have worked here for years and not received any kind of compensation/raises. When asked, the managers basically say "not right now".
No room for advancement.
Overall compensation for your work
Bi weekly pay. Sick time and vacation time accumulate over time. Barely above minimum wage with slight-to-none chance of raises. Expensive insurance.
Office / Work Environment
Computers have Windows 7 and are extremely slow at times. Makes our job 10 times more frustrating.
Open during almost every storm.
Schedules are very flexible.
Very few employees enjoy working here. Which reflects how patients see the facility.
Very stable position if you don't mind making almost minimum wage for the rest of your life.
Not sure. We have never been properly trained.
No sense of accomplishment. Work is pretty much repetitive and there's always more to do.
Inclusive / Diverse
