I had some great co workers. The job is no picnic but we worked together to get it done.
A lot of favoritism. If you slacked off but where friends with the right people you were golden. If you worked hard but you were not in friends with the right people you got no where.
I was told I would move up this was only to keep me from leaving.
Overall compensation for your work
I was a shift supervisor when I left I was making what they started new people at
Many times I would be scheduled 7-10 days straight or I would work till pm and have to work at 6 am the next day.
Suggestions for improvement
- Don't promote people lazy just because you like them personally. Pay your kennel staff better. A shift leader that has been an employee for over 2 years should not be making what new inexperienced staff are making.
What I like about the company
Only think I liked where some of my co workers. We constantly ran out of supplies because the budget was to low. They only care about money.
What I dislike about the company
I disliked that they strung me along told me I would move up especially when I had a family to support. I lost all motivation working there. At the end I was purposely made miserable so I would quit. Everyone saw it. I became very depressed that is not something you mess around with.
