The company talks about culture culture culture, what always glitter is not gold. This company in a period of 5 years was still trying to figure out how a fashion forward company should stand.. Look back at 2013-2014 when we had a new logo that represented Ann. From the operational business front to HR and Visual there is no consistency. They need to have one basic message and keep it there.
Working in the store line can be very hectic however any emotional feelings can dissipate when you have strong leaders who are motivators, good quality leadership skills, and overall inspiration. The company must not have too many chiefs and not enough indians. Ann Taylor must have a clean presentation of leaders from the Regional Manager to the District Manager down to it's Store Manager. Also a District Manager who knows how to lead 4-5 stores and is capable to balance them in great leadership skills and have a fair leading.
There are so many leaders involved that they tend to oversee employee productivity vs targeting employees who are late, or have family issues that surface during holiday or high peek time e.g. Day, Month, & Year
