Suggestions for improvement
- Welcome feedback from your team and honor some of their requests. They do work for YOU but you couldn't work without them. Keep that in mind.
What I like about the company
The team I worked with were super hard working and supportive. We were like a little family. It was at times enjoyable to make a connection with the brides and realize that I'm apart of the bigger picture of making the wedding process an unforgettable experience for them.
What I dislike about the company
The company in itself is run by a few that were definitely business saavy but not willing to connect and relate with their employees. They were unapproachable in my opinion. The vibe was tense when they were around. I definitely got a sense of "I'm here during work hours to occasionally make sure you're doing your job and I'll focus on the larger matters but other than that I'll be in my office and don't bother me." Team meetings called for feedback but none of our ideas got implemented. Some didn't know how to communicate with the team appropiately and avoided customer issues like the plague. Work-life balance could have been better as everyone is required to work Saturday and Sunday, no exceptions. Disorganization was also at an all time high.
