Suggestions for improvement
- More pto to better promote work life balance. Set more reasonable expectations for how the money is made that also allow for things to take more time then the bare minimum because things come up commonly that set everything off balance. Error forms and disciplinary notes would be eliminated because they are upsetting to employees and people in management should be talking to those who work under them. I would have each employee who had completed the 90 starting period train in the different departments to become better acclimated with what everyone does. I would make it so that you could go to a company meeting or event on the clock instead of having to use your break for it. I would also give employees the option to take 2 15 minute breaks and a half hour lunch instead of 2 5 minute breaks and an hour lunch. Some people smoke or need to breath for a while after an upsetting phone call and instead of having a way to manage that stress they're just thrown back in. You would get a set amount of sick days per year and you would be rewarded if you don't use any of them. Something based off the average time a person spends sick instead of this no holds bared 4 occurrence termination in a rolling 12 month period that we see now.
What I like about the company
Growing company that prefers to promote internally before hiring from the outside so moving up could be your reality. Fast paced environment with a lot of change and a very friendly staff.
You even get a dale carnegie course to help you handle stress and social interaction.
What I dislike about the company
The sick day policy is broken and doesn't allow for enough flexibility. The constant grown is great but there's some instability, discomfort, and disconnection that comes with it. Too many variables pop up and different departments have no idea what other departments can handle which comes off as unprofessional. The favoritism is unavoidable. The micromanagement focus's on the wrong things which is frustrating. If it must exist better direct it to things that matter instead of pointless things that make employees feel unappreciated.
