What I like
Offers 401k with company match.
What I dislike
The company tends to not be an equal opportunity employer.
Suggestions for improvement
There is no equal opportunity.
Town Hall meetings were held to inform employees of company direction, but with little detail to specifics.
Communications lacked between departments other than management. Leaving lower level workers clueless most of the time.
Support from management
Draftsman were discluded from the Idea Cycle meetings.
Freedom to work independently
Workloads were typically slim to none but usually stacked on select individuals.
Inclusive / Diverse
Company tends to seem single minded with only a few directions.
Attitude towards older colleagues
Accommodations for milestone markers lack the support an individual has provided of the course of their tenure.
Office / Work Environment
Computers are out of date and there are software conflicts. Office environment is unkept and very dusty.
Company is handicap accessible throughout the entire facility.
There are OSHA violations throughout the facility, both office and fabrication.
Overall compensation for your work
Wages rarely ever compensate that of the workload an individual is taking on. Salaries are not satisfying for workloads.
Once your in, you can stay as long as you can deal with everything.
The company promotes departments which are no longer in existence.
Most everyone finishes where they started, not much room for advancing at all.
From the Designer side there is a sense of accomplishment and the work can be challenging, most other work is simple and repetitive.
